I choose this book because I want to know more about how Volcanoes and Geysers work.

What did you enjoy about it?
I enjoyed the book because it has facts about Volcanoes and Hot pools

What did you learn from reading this text?
So this book about Volcanoes and Geysers

So I liked this book  because it shows us some 
facts and information  about where Volcanoes and Geysers are. And there  a lot  of scary pages and was terrifying. 

These are my facts:

1. Did you know that  that people believe that Mud 
from Volcanoes and hot pools are good for. Your health  I didn't know that mud from the volcanoes and hot pools help peoples health.

2. people like to watch the Geysers but the water is too hot to swim in.

3. some people  use  volcanic soil to plant things because it is very good for plants.

Weta

WALT identify words or phrases that may be unfamiliar and discuss

I thought it was interesting because there are about like a 100
million Scientists found fossils? And learnt that the weta's the Moari name of language is punga. I learnt that Weta can't fly because they can't escape from dangerous predators like bird, bat's,Tuatara.

so what did i do well is that i did 3 sentences in my blog post .
well what i did not didn't do well is i was wasn't

I had to find 5 tricky to help me with my reading. I had to skim and and scan the text to look for information.

The White-tailed Spider

Facts about white-tailed spiders 

What do they look like? 
The white tail spider it has a long dark grey body 
With a white patch at the end and it has 
Fangs and two palps even the palps  are in the front Of the body also the palps helps it to taste and grooming also it have two eyes and eight legs 

What do white tail spiders eat?
  unlike some other spiders the white tail doesn’t  spin web to catch its food it hunt’s at night, and it prefers to eat other spiders  

Where do the wihte tailed spiders  live?
They live in houses and a shelter also a bark and plants
